AROO CUP IS BACK FOR 2025!
The AROO CUP mini-rally series is starting back up for 2025! Register now for the first event on Sunday March 2nd (10:00 first car out from Cook Park in Tigard). Register by just sending an email to: paul.eklund@alfaclub.org and let me know if interested in a brief RALLY SCHOOL an hour before our first event on 3/2.
AROO CUP INFO:
Everyone is invited to try a 2-3 hour ROAD RALLY! These navigational drives are fun and challenging. They begin at 10am at Cook Park in Tigard unless stated otherwise. Plan to arrive about an hour early for the social aspect and driver’s meeting. Rallies end at a BBQ or Pizza joint for debrief and decompress. Roads are awesome and it is a challenge to pass each checkpoint exactly on time. There is a season championship awarded to top cars in the STANDARD and VINTAGE classes. Standard allows calculators and vintage is purely pen and paper.
SCHEDULE:
- Sunday March 2nd, arrive by 9:15am, Cook Park, Tigard FCO 10:00am
- Sunday April 13th, arrive by 9:00am, Cook Park, Tigard, Roger Dilts presiding
- Sunday May 4th, arrive by 9:15am, Cook Park, Tigard, written by Simon Levear, John and Maria rallymasters
- Sunday June 2nd, our special mini-NWC Rally, arrive by 8:45am, Cook Park, Tigard, for an all day rally event ending at a great all-club dinner that all members are invited to. There will be a short TOUR to the ending restaurant as well.
COSTS:
$30 per event for a car with an AROO MEMBER, otherwise $40 SEASON PASSES will be available at first 2 events: $90 gets you all 4 rallies (AROO) or $120 (non-AROO).
