AROO’s 2026 Old Spider Tour April 18-19th
An overnight adventure!
Join us April 18-19th for AROO’s Old Spider Tour. This tour has a long history within AROO, dating back to the 1970s. This tour was initiated by Bob and Margaret McGill to celebrate Bob’s birthday (April 19th) and the anniversary of the purchase of his 1958 Alfa Spider aka Old Blue (Rambo Motors, April 15th, 1958, $3,200). We affectionately refer to these early convertible Alfa Giuliettas and Giulias as “Old Spiders”. If you have one, you know how special these cars are!!
For this tour, we welcome you and your Alfa (any Alfa Romeo), but especially encourage all AROO’s Old Spiders (pre 1965) to get out and join us. Before the tour date, be sure to get mileage on your older Alfa to shake it out and ensure all systems are GO for the tour. We will be driving remote roads.
This year, we will return to the overnight format. Our destination will be Condon, Oregon with a group dinner Saturday night at the Hotel Condon. BOOK YOUR ROOM NOW! Only 3 Hotel Condon rooms are still available! This year, we will head east for great roads and views. The route will be shorter compared to past years, first day about 200 miles with multiple stops along the way.

Route: A variety of nice roads, views and some nice twisty bits
