2nd Annual “Hunker Hunker Burning Love Tour” and Brothers Collection Tour

We had so much fun last year, our Tourmaster (and new AROO Prez) Steve Hunker wants to do it again! This year will be even more of a blast, as we will be joined by BOTH the Porsche and Ferrari clubs on the tour and at the collection. If you have never been to Brothers before, it’s mind-boggling collection – perhaps the largest in quantity in the USA. If you have been before, you certainly missed something! Block the day out – for sure a great day of driving and car-oogling!

• When: Sunday, Feb 22 – 8am
• Where: Gather at 8am at Ron Tonkin Grand Turismo – 25300 SW Parkway Ave, Wilsonville, OR 97070 – (Map HERE).  Coffee and donuts and water bottles will be provided.  Depart 8:45am!  Approx 2.5 hour tour down to Salem.  Stopping for lunch at someplace TBD with lots of food trucks.  Arrive at Brothers Collection just about 1pm.  Doors at Brothers open at 1pm
• Cost: $30 for entrance to Brothers – you can pay Steve Hunker at Ron Tonkin and get a wristband to ease entry at the collection.  Please, CASH ONLY.  Lunch is on your own.  You can also just show up at Brothers at 1pm and pay $30 entrance (cash).
• RSVP: to Steve Hunker HERE.  There is no limit to entrance to Brothers, but we want to know how many people will be coming so we can make final adjustments.  Those that RSVP will receive the address of Brothers by email (at the request of the collection, public sharing of the address is discouraged).

This could be an amazing event, and the car show in the parking lot may be nearly amazing as the collection inside Brothers! Let’s see a big turnout for our first driving event of the year!!

Oregon’s Private $1 Billion Stable of Cars

If you are not familiar with the Brothers Collection, there is some information here.  We toured the Collection last year and there are some photos posted on our gallery page as well as below.

The main focus of the collection are Hemi Mopars.  More Hemi ‘Cudas than you will likely see anywhere.

The Brother’s definitely favor Mopars, but there is also a great Mustang and Ford section, as well as many Corvette’s and other interesting GM cars.  There are also a number of European cars including one Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale, a Lamborghine Countach (and my favorite Espada) and lots of Ferraris, etc.
