This year instead of the annual Valentine’s tour,  Steve Hunker arranged the first (hopefully annual) “Hunker Hunker Burning Love Tour.”

The tour was over 2 solid hours of wet and twisty back roads spanning 5 counties…Clackamas, Washington, Yamhill, Polk and Marion Counties.  We made a stop for lunch at Checkpoint 221 in West Salem, where there were a number of different food cart options to choose from.

After lunch we headed to the Brothers Collection, Oregon’s private $1 Billion stable of cars.

13 cars total joined at the start in Wilsonville.  More people joined for lunch including a few Seattle folks and a number of ORPCA (Porsche Club) members.  We were also joined by a few friends of AROO members who were driving a Subaru Forester, a 70’s Trans Am, and a really interesting Audi A4 converted to a ‘ute. Total headcount upon arrival was 78 people.

Just a reminder that AROO always welcomes and encourages guests to join us for tours and events!

This is a quick selection of photos from the tour staging, and at the mid -point at Bald Peak rest area.

There are more photos of some, but definitely not all, of the cars in the Brothers Collection on the gallery page. Looking forward to next year!
