AROO Rally Cup
Each year, AROO conducts a series of short Time-Speed-Distance rallies for the coveted “AROO Cup”. About two hours in duration, the rallies are conducted on Sunday mornings March-June. Members are welcome to participate in any car. Rallying offers an enjoyable, low-key form of motorsports competition. Please plan to join us for this fun and exciting activity!
Road rallies are governed by a set of rules called the “General Instructions.” To a very large degree, a rally is a test of the participants’ understanding of these rules and their ability to apply them. We encourage you to study these rules in advance, and to prepare for the Northwest Classic Rally by participating in AROO Cup Rally Series presented by the Alfa Romeo Owners of Oregon in the months leading up to the Northwest Classic Rally.
The rally season typically begins in March with the AROO Rally School, followed by the “AROO Cup” Rally series of monthly half-day TSD rallies through the spring. Late June brings AROO’s premier annual event, the Northwest Classic Challenge, which is on hiatus as we retool for the post-Covid world. And the rally season typically closed out with the running of the Dirty Rat rally in October.
This years main rally will be the Northwest Classic Rally to Butteville June 26-27.
