AlfaBits – September, 2025
Hello All – How can it be September already? Really – did summer go so fast this year?
Closer to home, I mentioned last month that a few of us attended the “Coburg Classic Car Show” – I’d like to see even more of our cars out there next year! 17 people turned out to see and hear David LaBriere’s General Meeting presentation about Car Photography. And more than 70 of you joined us at the Butteville Store for the final rally, Long Tour, Short Tour and amazing dinner! This could turn out to be an annual thing – and everyone would love it! It was nice to see so many people there, even though it was “wicked hot” as my Boston friends would say.

AROO-ers – one more important thing… please submit your photos for the 2026 AROO Member Calendar! So far, we have four people that have sent us photos… and we need more! The information about the “Calendar Contest” is on the Event Page and is HERE! You don’t have to be a pro photographer – in fact, it’s the “I took this and I like it” kind of photos we want! We are going to select 13 photos (front cover and each month) so there are still many openings. Deadline is October 19th, which gives you plenty of time to look through those old photo-books or to go out for a drive with the camera/phone. Please submit your photos and be a part of something really new and cool and collaborative… and just plain fun!
