Join us for the first General Meeting of 2025!
The April Monthly Meeting and Program will be hosted by Chris Bright.
Our special guest will be Tom Gammons. Last September, he had a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Italy. He was asked to create an outdoor painting that adorns a wall on the main street in the historic center of Sant’Agata Bolognese, the home of Automobili Lamborghini.
Tom’s unique technique of using intricate masking, stencils and spray paint took more than 100 hours to produce. Once completed, a grand celebration was held to unveil it, filled with local dignitaries, guests from as far as Japan, press, and notable members of the “Motor Valley” car community.
So how did a guy from Beaverton end up creating a work of art in Italy? Tom will tell us about his great adventure and share some photos and videos from the grand unveiling.
Doors open at 6:30 pm at the Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant at Riverfront at 0715 SW Bancroft Street, Portland, OR 97239.
Social Hour at 6:30, Order Dinner at 7:00, Dinner Served at 7:30, and Program starts at 7:30 pm.
Cost: Meal is $25 per person (tip included, bring exact bills), no-host beverages available, and no cost for just the program. All members, guests and visitors are welcome to attend.
