Speaking of the Holiday Party… While there, please purchase one of our inaugural Members’ Alfas Calendars! We already have commitments for 11 of our initial run of 70. A few people are giving them to friends, family and business associates – what a great idea! The calendar is only $20, and AROO makes a profit on them, making this a way to help yourself and your club! Please show them off to your friends, so they will want one as well! More info is HERE on the website, including a picture of a bunch of calendars piled up (very artistically, I must say…).
Speaking of 2026, we are already planning some great stuff! I’ve already mentioned Tom McGirr’s “bucket list” New England Tour, and the 2026 National Convention in Utah. We just got an invitation from the Porsche Club to again join them for a tour of the Brothers Collection Museum just outside of Salem. It’s on Sunday, February 22, and we will be doing the (not-yet-but-soon-to-be-famous) “Hunker Hunker Burnin’ Love” tour down to the site… your tour guide Steve Hunker is already thinking about a route!

Speaking of Steve Hunker… here’s some hot-off-the-press AROO Board of Director news… with no one choosing to run for Board Members, the existing BoD has been retained in its entirety. Furthermore, the Board has elected Steve Hunker to be the Board President for 2026. The official “handing of the gavel” will be at the Holiday Party, and Steve’s first job will be getting the Board together in early January for our all-day “retreat” and planning party. Congratulations, Steve!
